Hiram’s Scottish Riders Motorcycle Club, Allentown Chapter is still seeking members from within our Valley. As of the year 2006, we have been collecting dues and issuing dues cards. If you expressed a desire to become a member at any time in the past, now is the time to make that important step. As the club grows, the financial burdens increase. We have our logo but we need member patches, banners and other club identification. The good news is that we have received a small game of chance license for our Valley group that may wish to make use of it. The motorcycle club has every intention of raffling a Harley Street Bob in conjunction with the Valley’s annual Walkathon this October but we need active members to make all those ticket sales. Enclosed in this edition of the Messenger is an application form for the club. Please send the form along with $45 ($30 initiation / $15 dues per year) to me personally, to the office or to our Club Secretary, Guy Herring. I am determined to sponsor a child in our Learning Center as well as be a presence at Valley functions in support of “our kids”. Hope to see you at our next club meeting, the second Sunday at 11:00 AM.
